    TTS 24-7 are delighted to be working with one of Scotland’s largest family-run Plant hire companies, supporting them to recruit for an Experienced Administrator to cover a minimum 46-week Maternity cover position. There is a high possibility this position will become permanent for the right individual as the company grows.

    This position is working within a very fast-paced team and the successful candidate would benefit from having worked in a busy administrative role previously.

    Hours of work will be Monday to Friday 08.30-16.30.

    Key elements to this Role

    • Dealing with all physical and electronic documentation involved in the hire and off-hire of all plant machinery
    • Effectively Covert enquiries into profitable hires, helping to meet the company’s expected weekly target (with assistance from the Plant Manager)
    • Ensure all processes are adhered to and correct document management is maintained
    • Recognise and escalate any issues to the Plant Manager in a timely manner


    Main Duties will involve

    • Dealing with the on and off-hire of vehicles by;
    • Raising the PO’S
    • Preparing the quotes
    • Processing the contracts
    • Communicating with the clients both verbally and written
    • Ensuring all contracts are scanned over and signed and returned before the vehicle is hired out

    Other Duties Main involve

    • Converting enquiries into orders
    • Receiving and responding over telephone and email all enquiries
    • Continuously reviewing live hire reports to ensure internal plant systems is always up to date
    • Oversee pricing agreements
    • Stock check
    • Troubleshooting
    • Allocating Operators to equipment
    • Arranging driver’s schedules alongside Plant manager
    • Confirm and process internal and external transport arrangements
    • General Administrative duties

    There will be a minimum week’s handover when starting this position where some training will be given but this role will be suited to someone that has experience of working in an administrative role previously.
