    TTS 24-7 Recruitment is delighted to be recruiting for our Broxburn-based Skip Hire client who are looking for a Hire Desk Administrator to join their established team. Our client is a family-run company that’s been in the business for more than 27 years!

    This role is ideally suited to someone who has an upbeat personality, is confident in their ability, and is willing to learn and adapt to their role as they grow with the business.

    Key elements to the role:

    • Responding to customer enquiries providing quotations and processing orders via telephone, email, and online for all skip hire queries.
    • Dealing with the return of the skips out on hire.
    •  Route planning and having a good knowledge of Edinburgh & West Lothian area would be beneficial to coordinating drivers in the delivery of skips.
    • Dealing with payment methods and invoicing processes.
    • Processing on sage accounts, posting and editing bank transactions, reconciling bank and credit card accounts for all companies. Dealing with all accounts management for each customer.
    • General administration work, photocopying, scanning paperwork
    • Managing filing system
    • Ordering Office supplies
    • Download driver’s cards, scan analog tachograph upload to tacho master email infringement to drivers. (only when holiday cover is required).
    • Liaise with drivers and manage drivers working hours WTD/DTD. (only when holiday cover is required)

    • General Computer Skills
    • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
    • Experience in excel and word
    • Strong attention to detail, prioritisation, and Organisational skills

    Full training will be given on in-house systems, confidence in dealing with customers is key to succeeding in this role.

    The rate of pay may vary depending on experience, £9.50-£11.00 is the starting rate and this can be negotiated with the client before starting.

    This vacancy is a 12-week temporary to permanent position through TTS 24-7 Recruitment consultancy.
